I am a sculptor working in bronze, paper, wax and clay and a printmaker specialising in linocut and woodcut techniques.

Working in Britain's rural West Country, I explore indigenous country lore, both ancient and emerging. By integrating closely observed botanical and zoological studies with the rich metaphorical language of narrative traditions, my work reflects on our historical and changing relationships with the natural world.

I am a resident artist at Bull Mill Arts, an artists' community established by Lord Bath on the Longleat Estate.  My Wiltshire studio is on the banks of the lovely River Wylye and my Cornish studio is in a deep wooded coastal valley. My sketch books are filled with the flora and fauna of the surrounding landscape, water meadows, ancient woodland, open pasture and historic parkland. These notebooks have become my zoographical and narrative reference library for my studio work.

I studied Art and Art History at Goldsmiths' College (BA Hons 1990-93) and my work is exhibited in London and throughout the UK. I am a member of the Royal Society of Sculptors and a member of the Printmakers Council.
